I have just created a small logo with (3) circles. I then used a clipping path to place those circles in a star. However, when I select the star, all of the lines that are not within the clipped area continue to show up as light blue line. I would like to eliminiate these lines as they interfere with my working on the rest of the project. Does anyone know how to do this? I am wondering if I need to "expand", kind of like you do with the pathfinder. Thanks for the help

How about just using View/Hide Edges and also View Hide Bounding Box.

You wont see any of the 'hidden' lines anymore but on the downside you will have a real hard time knowing whats selected in your artwork.
