Clipper - I want to know how to make more file handles in WinMe OS

I have a large programs that open more than 12 database at a time and more than 19 aliases in one function or procedures but, Windows Me allows only 4 files handle, could anybody a little help?

Yes, Windows ME doesn't look at config.sys to set the number of file handles for DOS based apps.
You must add the following first line into de [386enh] section in the system.ini file (in c:\windows):

PerVmFiles = 120

(or whatever the files you want).

It works fine. regards.
