Hi,

I have a little procedure which copies a range from 1 excelfile to another. unfortunately, I keep getting a question concerning the clipboard. In brief, it asks if I want to keep the clipboard. How can I avoid the question even appearing on the screen. I want it to presume that I don't weant to keep the clipboard.
Thanks in advance.

I think if you set the CutCopyMode property of the Excel application object to False, you won't see it.

I am copying from 1 excel file to another..will I still e able to do this, if the property is set to false???

Can u give me the syntax for this operation - thanx!

Yes! Set it as one of the last lines before closing.

Sorry, syntax of what, you mean removing the excess words, stuffing in a dot and an equal sign?

[tt]' in Excel
appliation.cutcopymode=false
' or with automation, as I assume you are doing, sinec this is
' the Access VBA forum using your xl object
objXL.cutcopymode=false[/tt]

Else, for syntax of copying stuff in Excel, you'd better take a look at forum707, there's a small sample here faq707-4105

sorry, but if I set the - cutcopymode=false - then I get a timeout error.. To be honest, it doesn't seem to make sense to set the cutcopymode to false if I want to paste the range I copy.

What am I doing wrong?
