CLIP version ipgrade

I am getting an error backing up (ArcServe) a NW 4.11 server with a NW 5.1 server. The backup fails every night with a "Login Failed" message and an "E3034 Failed to get connection's xxs information" in the activity log. Novell has a document in it's knowledgebase (TID 10068349) which refers to the exact problem. The article states the CLIB version needs to be updated to a version later than 011022n5.exe. I upgraded CLIB.NLM and CLIB.MSG on the 4.11 server to a later version this afternoon and when I rebooted the server, it abended repeatedly until I put the CLIB files back as they were. This 4.11 server has SP 9 installed and the CLIB.NLM is dated March 2000. What is the latest version of CLIB I can put on the 4.11 server and where can I find it? I don't understand Novell's reference to 011022n5.exe. There is no such filename on Novell site.

That CLIB patch is on the Novell website, but it is a NetWare 5.x patch not a 4.x patch which is why you were getting problems.

Firstly, what version of Arcserve is it? Also, check your versions of TSA411.NLM and TSANDS.NLM and ensure that your backup account has enough concurrent connections listed on it. If it is set to one, no good. Try removing the concurrent connections and trying again, -----------------------------------------------------

Thanks for your reply. The issue has been resolved. SetupNLS was not loaded on the 4.11 server. I loaded it and the backup ran fine last night.
