I'm having an issue where the user clients are receiving a "server failed to initialize" error when attempting to log on the Perform site. I can reach the site from the server, but no client machine is able to do so.

The error occurrence is: unable to connect to the remote server. No configuration changes were made, nothing changed on the network, all I can see is that the server fails to register with DCOM within the timeout value specified. Could this be causing the issue? If so, has anyone been able to solve this?

run setsecurity again and ensure app server name is in trusted websites

also double check .net version
