Hi All,we have 2 BDCs in our locations but somehow, the clients are not logging in to the local DCs, but logging on to the PDC in a remote location instead. The BDCs used to server the local clients before but we can't explain what occured that caused the issue. Hope you can provide us an input.Any info would very much be appreciated.

You supposedly could use the Microsoft® Set Prefered Domain Controler Utility and then create a script that using winat run's in the morning and at lunch time to set the file server to use the BDC's for example C:\WINNT\SETPRFDC DOMAIN Back1-DC-1 Back1-DC-2 PDC-DC-1 So that it would be forced to use the secure connection to BACK1-dc-1, and if not available DC-2 and if they are both not available finally the pdc.
