Client's IP Address

hi there,
i use #remote_addr# to get the IP address of the client's machine, but it gives me the IP of the server! so, how can i get the IP of the client's machine?

Are you sure? That sounds impossible.

Is the server on your LAN? Whats the internal ip of the server, and whats the internal ip of the client machine?

The server is not on my LAN. Say the internal IP of the server is 'A' and the client's machine IP is 'B'.

If you are using a proxy server, only that machines IP will be displayed because all incoming/outgoing traffic is routed through that machine. The same thing applies if you are using a default gateway.
