I just installed Windows Server 2003 on my server, and set up the clients with read and write privledges. However, the clients cannot save to the server. We just need to save to an access database. That's the only thing the server will be used for at this time. Any suggestions?

yes I believe I have set both share and file permssions. I am new to Windows Server 2003, so I've have to recheck it. Have only used Novell before. I'll check on Monday when I go back to work, Thanks.

Have you added the role of File Server, added permissions?
Are clients added to the domain or is this seperate.
Can they ping the server?

Try:

\\ip
or
\\servername

Good luck
