This thing is gradually driving me crazy!!!!<br>I cannot get the clients to install via the login script and when I run SMSMAN.EXE to install it manually no client can detect any SMS server, even when I point the installation to the server!!!&nbsp;&nbsp; What am I missing here?<br>The only discovery method that actually seems to have worked was the Users and Group.&nbsp;&nbsp;I believe I have everything configured properly but obviously I haven't! :(<br><br>help<br><br>

I agree, make sure your Logon points are there and you have the proper IP subnets configured.
Do you have the Network Logon Client Installation enabled?
Or NT Remote Client install?
Have you checked your connection accounts and do they have the proper permissions?
Just some things to check, let me know what it turns out to be.

I have the same problem. I have service pack 4 installed on a BDC, with my subnets configured. I have the options Install remotely and logon discovery enabled. I also have this server set as a logon point, yet when i run smsman.exe, it claims it cannot find the logon point. If i could just get it so the logon point was visible to the clients i would be so happy. Any advice? Nothing obvious will help me, only someone who has had this problem.
