Clients are able to move up from their folder on my FTP site

Hi,

I have set up my FTP site so when a user logs in, they are automatically taken to their own folder. But they are able to move up and see all the other users folders and access those folders aswell. They cannot edit or change anything in those folders, but I don't want them to be able to see those folders at all.

How can I do this?

What FTP server software are you using? Have you read the user manual on how to configure it?

check to see if the local users group has read access to all the user virtual directories. This would happen as a result of inheritance being set from the root of your ftp directory. Make appropriate changes to your permissions and test...

sorry... I am Talking NTFS permissions on the folders themselves...
