When I run Novell client 32 v4.1 sp1 on win 2000 profession, it takes a good 5 minutes to get the novell login screen to come up after the machine has booted, and when I upgrade to sp3, it comes up faster faster but will crash the machine. do you have any suggestions

I take it you mean Novell Client 4.8 and not 4.1??

Try downloading Client 4.81 from

http://download.novell.com

as it is more robust than 4.8 with SP3.

By the way, any errors in Event Viewer?? -----------------------------------------------------

Yes I mean 4.81 sp1, and sp3 will crash the machine
