We have a client with an older Partner system, where it appears the VM card has been mis-configured.

See link, it has a ACS Proc. R3.0 and 206E Module.

It has two PC cards, a CWD2 R2.0 PVM Card (CC#108253709 99DR04) and a PC remote Access Card.

Overview Shot of system

Issues
All started when user tried to change the delay in the AA or VM in answering. (We support their IT and do not support this system).

When VM card plugged in calls are answered by AA and then get continuous loop ring no matter what extension is chosen.

With VM card removed calls come in, but there appear to be possible issues with how the lines are setup.

Desired setup:

4 POTS lines are incoming with 1 and fax.

There are 2 primary phone numbers that all get same ring 5 times and then AA treatment.

Fax line is used for outbound only as an over flow if other lines busy.

Question:

We have the tech manuals, but this is outside of our wheelhouse enough such I don't feel comfortable relying on just the generosity of the Guru's in this forum. That said I do not want to cross any lines attempting to recruit or the like, we are not looking to hire, just get this client taken care of. Their original dealer is out of business.

Thanks in advance!

Rich

Well, you can check the programming from ext 10:

Feature 00, Left Intercom Twice, #505: Hunt group 7, then extension 78 and 79 should be assigned (and no other extensions)

It sounds like they changed the selector code for option 1 in the auto-attendant though. Have them log-in as if they are changing the auto-attendant greeting. Listen to the prompts and wait for selector code transfer. Choose that and enter selector code 1. Make sure it is set to direct extension tranfer.

Partner Voice Messaging, the selector codes are set via option 4 once logged into mailbox 0.

Dial Intercom 777, then 0#, password-#. 4 for Selector Codes, 1 for Selector Code 1, if it doesn't say Direct Extension Transfer at this point press the # key, otherwise hang up.

If that's not it, give a better description of the symptoms, or visit my website for more info

Thanks for the quick response, I will give a go and let you know.
