Client version of NFIXUP

Guys

Is there a Notes client version of NFIXUP and NCOMPACT that I can download (v5.0.11). My Notes archive file is coming up with "File Truncated - file may have been damaged" and the recommendation is to run a Fixup and Compact which is all well and good but this us a local database and the fixup and compact commands are not part of my Notes Client install.

If you look into your Notes application directory (not the data directory), you will find an nfixup.exe. You might need to install the Admin client, but I don't think so.

I don't exactly know if it obeys the same command line instructions, but it should be adequate for your needs.

As per my original post, the fixup and compact commands are not part of my Notes Client install. I have tried doing an Admin Client install and they did not get installed as part of that either so they might have been removed from the install files I have!?

I found out that NFIXUP and NCOMPACT do not come as part of the client install, but you can copy the EXEs off a Domino server and run them on a workstation. I have tried this and it works ok, and my problem is resolved

That is curious, I have only the client installed and I have the fixup app. Given that I don't have access to the server, it can only have been installed with the client.

Maybe it's because I'm using 6.5.x ?

They're included in the recent release. I have 6.5.x also and like you have the apps.
