Client Updates - Where to extract the files?

Ok -

I downloaded the 9532pt3.exe client update. Where's the best location to run the extraction file from? Should I create a new folder? Or, place it inside the 'Novell' folder and run it from there?

I'm having the worst luck in the world with 1 PC at the office.
