I have CCMA 6.0 installed as workgroup server. when i am trying to access the webadmin application to connect to CCMS server i am getting SOAP error.

" The SYstem could not access CCMA Sever to initialise SOAP object. Verify that you have configured the SOAP files with fully qualified domain name instead if machine name. Please contact your Technical Support Prime to run ChangeSoapSrv utility to correct the issue. "

I tried putting the server in domain and then ran the abopve utility still same error.
Please suggest what can be done??

You can install the CCMA software PEPS SU04, 0401 and 0402 and install Netframework 2.0 on the server. This will eliminate the need for SOAP. Make sure the CCMS also has the latest PEPS as well. Be careful not to install the CCMM PEPs if you do not have that product.
