Hi all, we have our system setup to do queries to check to see if software exists or not. If not then it installs it based on where it is etc. I have one computer that tells me Flash is not installed except that I know for a fact it is. THe query checks the Add/Remove list for the program name, I have check the client in question and the program appears in the list but the query says it does not. Anyone have an idea how to correct this?

I would check to make sure that the SMS client is healthy. Check to see when the last hardware/software scans took place.

Short of finding anything here, you might want to re-install the client (last resort)

Add/Remove Programs queries have always been a bit quirky for me, so I use software inventory. Using the Software Inventory Client agent, look for files directly related to, and only to, Flash. For example, if you wanted to check for McAfee you could run an inventory against c:\program files\common files\network associates\engine\clean.dat.
