I cannot login to the Novell server. We are attemping the use ADSI to retrive information from the NDS, for this we need to use the Client Service for NetWare to connect. I have all of the pertinant information, tree, context, network number frame type, userid password but I still cannot get a connection to the novell server

Here is my error
title: Client Services for Netware
message: YOu cannot be authenticated on NDS Tree(Context); nwtree(nwcontext) due to the following reason:
The network path was not found.
Do you really want to set the NDS Tree(Context) to nwtree(nwcontext)

I can use ipxroute ripout xxxxxxxx and I get network reachable.

when I try ipxroute servers

I get

NWLink IPX Routing and Source Routing Control Program v2.00

Unable to retrieve information from the SAP agent.
Make sure that the SAP agent service (NWSAPAGENT) is started.

csnw is an evil piece of $$$$
it makes a bindery connection and it cant access the nds properly - i also only supports ipx

slap a client on it - and access it then - with a proper ip connection

When you use Client Services for NetWare, you're pretty much on your own. Microsoft intentionally crippled it and you won't find anybody that supports it.

I have seen first hand some networks that it works fine, and others where it doesn't. When it doesn't work, it doesn't work. This is even more true with NDS8 and eDirectory.
