Hi folks,
Can you tell me what must I do to change the server to which my pervasive clients connect. I'm using Pervasive SQL 2000 and so far I've found that the server is recorded in a Registry Key, but after changing it and runing my application the client automatically adds another key with the old address.

Thanks a lot for your help

You would need to change the application to access the data on the other server. You would need the Pervasive engine running on the server where the data is located as well.

Exactly, buy I don´t know how to do that (change the application to access the data on the other server). The engine is already running on the other server

Maybe to further explain the problem...

In Pervasive SQL 2000i Workgroup you use the Gateway Locator to specify the server you should connect to. In Pervasive SQL 2000 client I don´t have such a tool.

That's correct. The Gateway Locator file is only for the Workgroup engine. Because the server engine is running on the remote server, it always opens files that reside on that server. But you have to tell the application that the files are on that server.
