I have a 98 client using a win2k citrix box, i shared out the users local printer and then did a network intall of it to the citrix box (which needed its own drivers) I then logged on at users workstation and citrix app and when i try an print to the shared printer it just hangs forever... The auto create doesnt work for some reason and I have also tried in conecction settings -> client settings I have checked to use default users printer (map to it) none of these things are working any help would greatly be appreciated thanks

Have you tried to configure the WTSUPRN.INF file to help with the Auto Created Process? This file is useful when you are using 2 different NAMED drivers on the client and the server.

In other words, if your using an HP LaserJet 4L printer...
on the client, the driver NAME is "HP LaserJet 4L"
on the server, the driver NAME is "HP LaserJet 4L Plus"
Even though it's the same driver, they might be named different. If this is the case, printer will not auto create. Dave Namou, MCSE CCEA

thanks so much I figured this one out though... thank you again
