I have successfully managed to install CE 10 on my own workstation (using Microsoft IIS etc)
I can access it on my colleagues PC, by typing the address in the browser.

Is there any client software that should be installed on the users' PCs? Or do they just need to enter a URL that I give them?

You do not need to install anything on the users' PC's. If they/you choose to view reports with the ActiveX viewer, however, that will need to be downloaded on the first attempt to view a report.

Hi,
And it that does happen, the user will need to be at least a 'Power User' or 'Administrator' on the PC to get the ActiveX installed..

Some report developers might want Publishing Wizard, and / or Business View Manager.

The reason I ask is because when CE is installed it puts a 'program' link to 'Crystal Enterprise Userlaunhpad'
I thought that this is something the users should have, so they don't need to type a URL in their browser (or go to their favourites).

also how is it possible to install just just the Business View Manager?
