Client PC viewer window opens then disappears?

I have a client PC that is displaying aberant behaviour.
When trying to view the last instance using ACTIVE X OR DHTML viewer the view window opens briefly and then disappears before client can see any content.

We have other PC's that run without issue, so can only conclude it is a client issue. Must be a setting but blowed it i can find it.

We are running CE10.
Client PC is a WIN2K box.

Could be lots of things, but I'd suspect something in the browser itself on that box.

Have them log in to another functioning machine with the same login, if it works there than your IE install is probably hosed.

Does the user have any anti pop-up software installed?

Found it... a popup disabler in a non standard toolbar...
