Has anyone experienced the client disconnecting from SCCS during the night and therefore not printing specified reports? I realize reports run regardlessly, but my admin states that the reports aren't printed if it disonnects. This may be her issue all together, but thought I'd waste all of your time a little for my sake...As the tech in this scenario, it is my duty to investigate all in my atmosphere here at work.

My SCCS administrator seems to think it may have somnething to do with the SCCS server or the Option 81, I'm not sure about what it is and that's why I'm here..Anyone got any insight or experience on issue?

Does the network automatically log users off their pcs during the night? If the Report Listener is not running on the client pc, then the scheduled report will not print. And logging someone off their pc would shut down programs running, so that might do it..

Maybe the PC is going into suspend mode. Many pc's (escpecially laptops) will shut down the network card to save power. Just as an experment, turn off all power management.

Stu..
