Hi All,

Solaris 9
Netbackup 6.0 MP6

After having upgraded from MP4 I am missing RedHat versions from the pull down when adding clients.
Anyone experience the same thing?

Thanks

This should be an option to install the client agent for it in the maintenance package. I'd call Symantec if it's not an option to install from the MP to see if they still support it. I know they dropped HPUX-10.20 which I still have lingering in my environment. Do a search on Symantec's support site to see if it's still supported and download the needed software. As long as you have valid license keys you shouldn't have any issue.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for the advice. I have managed to fix this myself by copying the Linux directory structure from a working NBU environment over to the broken one.
Then by just restarting the GUI the options were available in the pulldown.
No idea why these weren't installed when the client MP6 was installed, but there you go. Best not to ask!

Cheers
Al
