Client install on DMZ server

I have a server(s) on the public DMZ and want to backup these servers, I am unable to see my master or media server as a part of the install and I just continue the install, I then setup the firewall config on the master, but I am still unable to connect to the DMZ server, thoughts?

Thoughts :

- Routing ?
- Hosts entry on server and client
( /etc/hosts or Winpath\system32\drivers\etc )
- Firewall rules ?

You have to configure the client to talk on "non standart ports" then you have to make the samething on the master server. If it is windows you will need reboot of the client
