Hi all,
I have been performing client installations on SCCM 2007 using;
1) Client Push:-.>sometimes was buggy due to WMI issues
2) Software Updates:.->needed proper wsus configuration.

my questions are;
1)What other methods are available?....i've heard of GP installation tho i have not implemented it.
2)Which method is convinient and most likely to be hustle free?

Installing via a login script should also work.

Also the GPO route that I mentioned in your other thread, installing via GPO is the same for how you would push out software via GPO, nothing special required.

As far as hassle free goes, pushing out via the SCCM console really is pretty hassle free but you really do need to sort out your WMI issues.

Worth asking, I seem to recall that this was a test environment, why don't you see what happens in your production environment and then see what you need to do with regards to client deployment?

Simon

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.
