Can anyone explain to me why my client indexes (which are on my server in /nsr/index) are not being backed up, when I back up my server, but when I back up the clients (they are appended to the end of the client backup)
TIA 4 any knowledge. Mike davison

When the backup server gets backed up, it ignores it's index files by default (NSR directive files are automatically created with each client to do this), as they get backed up when the client runs.

If you really want to back them up again, you can do it a few ways, you can create a server directive telling NetWorker to ignore it's directive files, or perform a "save -i " (the -i ignores any directive files) on the file system you wish to backup.

Good Luck!!
