Client freezes when printing

Im using windows98 with client3.2. The problem im having is when i print to a ipx printer my mouse freezes for about 10-25 seconds its really annoying. Is there anything i could do in the client properties or something else? Thanks

Are you Spooling to the network printer, or trying to print directly?? Check your settings in the printer properties advanced tab, and make sure you're spooling, not printing directly. Also, if you're set for vector graphics, change to Raster graphics.
