I have a windows domain and just install the Identity management piece in windows 2008 R2.
The schema is extended and I have loaded UID/GID into the users profile. Now on my windows 7 clients I have installed Client for NFS on my windows 7 boxes.
My intention is to have users use the Client for NFS to map drives with the UID in their AD profile. So far I am able to map the drive, but it always maps to -2 UID.
I tried typing my domain and also tried my domain controller into the Active Directory domain name portion of Identity mapping source in the properties.
All to no avail, I have left the UNM portion blank as I dont believe I need to fill that in. Anyone else run into this problem?
Anyone able to get Client for NFS on Win7 to map UIDs correction from AD?
