Client for Microsoft networks keeps dropping

Hi,

When one of the users at my company tries to connect using his Win2K pro machine, he sometime gets on and sometimes not, the cause of this is that in "local area connection properties", his client for Microsoft networks keeps unticking itself. I have never seen anything like it, has anyone any ideas?

I would remove his nic and all settings and re install this is clearly a corruption
