I have a W2K3 setup with and extra NIC. I can browse the internet from the server just fine. When I try to browse from the client computers I can never get a page to show.

I can not ping the router nor any external IP address like I can on the server. will resolve the name to an IP address but when I do a tracert it will only hop to the server and no further.

I have the client set to DHCP. All functions to the server are fine but no outside access except for DNS seem to work.

I ran the NAT setup and the internet config wizard and it seemed to already be setup but perhaps I did something wrong.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Server can access the Internet but not clients

Symptoms: You have windows 2003 multihomed server with DNS and NAT/Firewall. The server can access the Internet but none of clients.
Causes: 1. Incorrect default gateway on the client settings.
2. Incorrect DNS on the client settings.
3. NAT/Firewall blocks the client accessing the Internet.
4. The server doesn't enable IP routing or incorrect routing table.
