Hello,

W2K SP4 + MetaFrame XPe FR3 + ICA Client PN32 7.00

We have a site connected by a high latency frame relay (64Kbps, 800ms RTT)which uses Citrix to run some apps. One of the apps needs a COM1 printer to print document hardcopies.

Everything works fine until we mapp the remote COM1 port. From that moment on every operation gets to a screaching halt. Launching a session takes 4 minutes compared to the previous 40sec, and the apps get unusable.

I have applied the Best Practices Optimizations for wWans that Citrix provides but the main problem with COM port mapping isn't solved.

Has anybody found this issue before?

Thanks!
