Another one of those mysteries. metaframeXPa running on win2k servers on nt4 network. Remote branches connected via 56k frame circuits.(I know, we're working on it). Micom Marathon routers (don't ask). 4-user branch running win 9x, ica 6.3. One user tried to log on, message that citrix server not available. Another user bumped off, tried to reconnect, same message. Another user logged off, tried to get back on, same message. All members of one domain. Static ip addresses. Can ping citrix servers both by name and ip address. Can see servers in network neighborhood. Can ping user from server. Finally bounced Micom router. ok now. Has happened at 3 different branches now.

hi,
at client, try to put in server location, the address
of the server: this is a limitation but in large or strange
envs, it may resolve your problem.

bye

We have seen strange things happening (like these) when users start enabling their winsock proxyclient...

Hi, I just had the same problem today...
Citrix connection unavailable message..

the Citrix in W2K (connect as a member of NT4 domain)
somehow the port 1494 in this server is not running.
you can test this by telnet citrix_server_ip_address 1494
if the connection is lost this port is not working.

probably need a TS licensing server,
anybody can help ? thx

I have solved my problem by doing this:

1. Citrix Bug, need modify registry (Reff:CTX127867)
2. TS License manager need to be install in one of the W2K server.
3. Incorrect Product Code
