Hello all!

A week ago I received version 10 of Symantecs Antivirus corporate. I removed the 9, and installed the newer version.

But now when I want to install a client, i get the following error when i select the option to use a managed server:

"A managed client cannot connect to an inmanaged Secondary Server. It must connect to either a managed Secondary Server or directly to a Primary Server."

I find this error weird, because I only have 1 server in our network...

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards,

Jan-Willem

If you only have one server in the network that fuctions as an antivirus server. Open the SSC console and find that server. Right click on it and choose make a primary server. It will then be able to manage clients. If that does not work then you may have installed the server incorrectly.
