Client:auto locate don't work

Hi,

I have Windows 2000, Citrix Metaframe XPa with FR2 and the client 6.30.1050.
Today I have a problem when users in the settings auto locate have configured. Then i get the error message:

Cannot connect to the Citrix server
Unable to contact the Citrix Server Browser. Either your network is not functional, or you need to configure an address under Server Location, or the configured address is incorrect.

If i configure the ip-address everythink works fine. Why does auto locate not work?

There is no firewall between the client and the server!

No I have found it myself. It was the setting: Server responds to ICA Client broadcast messages. But I don't know why this setting was changed. One day bevor the auto search work.

Interesting - I wonder if anyone else on this forum has seen this. Could be an unreported bug! CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
