Client Auth - HTTP Timeout...help!!!

Howdy all!

I'm struggling to understand why my http sessions timeout. I have a Nokia IP530 running CP NG FP2.

Security policy is setup as follows:

allusers@any server any http clientauth

Client Auth properties:

Required Sign On - Standard
Sign On Method - Manual

Our users will be accessing this server from the internet and authenticating with the firewall.

Problem:

My HTTP sessions timeout after 30 or 90 secs after authentication. It varies and is not consistent.

Logs:

authorize http
accept http

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you checked the timeout settings by right clicking client auth in the appropriate rule and selecting properties? There are two tabs, you need the other one. Default for NG AI is 5 connections before timing out the connection. Either change it to more connections or choose a time value.
