Client access won't open when outlook is open

Hi,

We have IBM client access v5r2 installed on windows XP

outlook 2003 installed on the pc's also.

When winword.exe is open the client access won't open,

The problem is new and is affecting nearly all pc's

what version of the OS are you running on the iseries? is it 5.2? also is office/word etc updated recently?

if you are running 5.3 or 5.4, try installing 5.3 or 5.4 version of client access, or iseries access as it is called now. Also if you havnt, check you have the latest updates on for windows as well.

Hi

The As400 is running OS/400 V5R1.

Windows and outlook are updated automatically and i have manually istalled sp3 to try to resolve this problem with no luck

The only other changes made to the PC's are that SAP gu software has been installed and sophos has updated from 7.0.3 to 7.0.4 but isn't complaining about the ibm software
