Clie software will not install

Hi, I am attempting to install the Clie (UX50) software on W2k device. When I try to do so, the installer skips right past the install and then indicates that it cannot install due to an interuption. I have tried installing in safe mode, disabling the anti virus and copying the cd to the local drive but I get the same result.

Can anyone think of a reason that this may be occuring?
Any insight would be appreciated.
