Hi all, I have a strange one.
BCM 400 w/3.6 not fully patched, but CP2. Customer has 1 1/2 PRI's with lots of DID's. For some reason, if you call out from the system to any of the DID's (I don't know why you would, but someone did) the name that comes up on the CLID is not the company name. It is (coincidentally?) the last name of a user on the system (last name is in the call pilot, not the BCM itself) who has no associations with any of the DID's. What I find strange is that the name comes up all in CAPS, but the user's name is entered in mixed case.
The telco swears up and down that this CLID is originating from the BCM. I've tried monitoring through BCM monitor and I do not see any CLID on the BCM monitor, but sure enough, it shows up on the set.
Any thoughts?
Rob.
