I have a couple of SX-200ICP rel 4.0.3.12 that are not displaying i/c name and number properly. At site A I get i/c number but no name and at site B the only thing that is displayed is the called number. The trunking is Pri and I have the trunks programmed as E&M. The cos options and all other options are programmed the same as a working site on a DMS. In form 42 I have the protocol programmed as "NI-2" and the variant as "none". I have changed these options to no avail, keeping in mind the link resets with a change.
Does anyone have a 200ICP working on a GTD5 NI-2 that displays name and number properly. I do see name and number coming into both sites.
thanks.

With GTD5 troubleshooting can be difficult.

You say you've confimed that the name is being received. As I remember it this requires a L2L3 trace and Hex to ascii conversion. How did you do this?

Not having the GTD5 varient enabled seems wrong.

Displaying DNIS digits instead of ANI would be a COS option. Display ANI only would also be a COS option.

Need more info before commenting further.

as indicated I have the same cos options as in a DMS100 office and all is well with them, so should eliminate cos. I have confirmed name and number coming into site thru smdr. These sites are quite a distance so not easy to test. I will eventually be going to site but I wanted to do as much remotely before going. I have a Pri meter so can do test or do the embedded tests in the ICP when I go. Just wanted to make sure I wasted missing something. I have tried the variant with GTD5 and without to no avail. I even tried out of desparation DMS. I am not a fan of GTD5 switches. Does anyone have a GTD5 NI-2 working with clid?

I did have CLID on an SX-200 but I've since upgraded to a 3300. The CLID is still working on the 3300. Basically this answers the question of whether it can work.

What type of hardware are you running on the 200 for the PRI? Embedded, PRI Card in per node, NSU?

The E&M part of your config may be a factor but I can't be sure.

Pri is embedded, what did you have for protocol and variant?

I was running this on an older system (LTW19 ELx) with a PRI Card in a per node.

As it happens I still have an ascii capture of the programming.

I had the PRI trunks set up as
- CCT Descriptor DID/Tie (Shown Below)
- Protocol - NI-2 Varient GTD5
- Link Descriptor as shown Far below

The COS you sent me is for Single Lines?

Are we talking analog phones as would seem to be the case with having Direct to ARS enabled.

I can't think of any single line phones with diplays on them. If we're talking CLID to analog sets, that a whole new issue.

it definately is ons class and have confirmed DSPs on BCCIII in each bay. We have a couple single lines phones that display clid. I have a great number of them on DMS switches.
