MCD 3300 6.0 with digital trunks (PRI)
My customer has a cell phone programmed on a personal ring group, when he receive an outside call on his PRG (via embedded auto attendant), he see's his compagny CLID on his cell phone and not the caller's CLID, he want's to see the caller's CLID.
I played a lot with le COS options related to the display without success. I want to know if any other place then the COS were i have to check or if there is a specific setup of the COS, and which COS is involved (EDHU COS, TRUNK COS, Embedded voicemail cos, ip set cos?
any idea?
Thks

From my experience with Telco, they certainly will say that the problem is not on their side,
Is there any test I can do on the 3300 to confirm that the issue comes from the Telco?

IN Australia that's a limitation of our carriers and the MITEL

The mitel cannot send cli out on its trunks if that CLI does not belong to the trunks

eg if we have trunks that have 08 812345xx ad the assigned number range , we can only send a number from that range out as CLI.

The MCD can only send No cli , the default link number or the EHDU full CLI (or Ring group pilot CLI).

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

First of all it does work becuase we have it working on our in house system which I don't have access to for programming info. You might have to play with the COS of the EHDU and the desk set to get it to work. Might even have to check the trunks COS. The options I would think you have to look at would be

Originators display update on call forwarding/routing.
Display held call ID on transfer

Sorry can't remember what combination works.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Thks Loopylou,i will play again with these options and see.
