CLID Name

Is it possible to change the clid name that the PRI is sending out. I have an Opt 11c. There are two companies sharing the switch. The PRI is under ABC company. XYZ company want to send their company name when they call out from their phones. There is only 1 PRI. I told the customer the switch has no control of what names to send out. You can only change the numbers.

Can I program the switch to just send the DID without names?

You make another CLID table entry and assign a number that way. Just input the new table entry with a space after the DN. KEY 0 SCR 8200 2 for table entry #2.

UNLESS THAT SWITCH IS REGISTERED WITH YOUR LOCAL TELCO AS A TENANT SWITCH YOU ARE PRETTY MUCH SCREWED. THE TELCO COULD TAKE THE NAME OFF AND SEND YOUR CLID BUT NO NAME IF IT WAS REGISTERED

you can have the did's sent out, have the provider remove the name

Our provider lets us send out whatever number we want, and attaches the name from their name database. IE, I can call from work and it will appear as my cell (and give my cell name information). So if you have PRI, and the numbers are owned by the other company, the name should match? Could just be my provider though... -Matt

Your provider may have all the numbers under one account name. Contact them with the CLID's being sent out for those individuals and see if they can do something for you.

if the office is set up right, your load 95 can send names, on a set to set basis, you'll need to contact the vendor of the pri to have them pass names
