We have two 3904 sets installed which will not show CLID. CPND comes through, but not CLID. I have double checked the DN and TN's, and all appears to be OK. I am unsure where to look from here. Here's a printout of the TN, maybe someone can see what's wrong.
Thank you
Mark
(btw, I did add CLS CNIA which did not solve the problem)

are you calling out from that key? and if so is clid table 1 didn yes.. for a quick test if that is not the problem.. change an analog to the same dn as the 3904.. call out from it.. does the problem stay with the dn?

enl msgo x.. on your d.. you may be sending the clid and the provider may not be picking it up.. depending on the far end switch type, they can allow or deny each dn

Sorry, should have given more information on that last comment. The firmware on disk is 89, and yes this firmware is the same as 80% of the working 3904 sets here.
The two sets in question are DCFW'd from a phantom TN to an apropos call management system, or failing that, they ring on the phone. I do not know why they are acquired as an AST DN - the setup of these phones was done long before I arrived at this company.

The SCR key is the main key for that user's position. Prior to the apropos system, it too was an mcr programmed on both sets, but alas AST licensing requires unique P-DN's.

The CLID table contains 0 through 3, and these work on all other sets without fail. 0 provides area code and exchange for did numbers, 1 provides the companies main published number for non-did's, 3 provides an area code and a second exchange for our second range of did's, and 2 is not used anymore.

I am figuring that this must be set specific, because when I add that SCR DN to my own 3904 and make a trunk call, I see CLID (on my cell phone).

Thanks,
Mark

Ah, ACQ is tied in with Symposium link.

Got it. CLS DDGD - DN Display on other set Denied. Change to allowed, and working.
Thanks for the input folks.
