Hi friends,

i have a network of 61C s spread over wide geographical areas forming a private telecom network for us. We have TIE trunk lines interconnecting them using Nortel Passport7480.

We have implemented CDP concept with TSCs for all the destination. for eg to reach extn 2323 in hongkong we would dial 5589 2323(tsc+extn) to reach extn2323 in hongkong.Suppose my extn is 2001 then we want that when i m calling extn 2323 in hongkong using 55892323 then in that extn display shud show H2001(my extn). But instead of H2001 the display of that extn is showing H001.

Also when we receive calls at our location from other locations then from few locations we receive complete clid H2323 but from other locations we get H323.

want help regarding where to make necessary changes to receive and transmit complete clid.

Thanx in advance.

i would compare location expected digits.. seem like a dialing scheme that is over complex.. with as few stations as you have i would rethink the dial plan...it would seem that your network would be better served by using a unique 5 digit number for each extenion and dialing that number without needing to know where the other end lives.. just a thought.. with a pri network and vnr the programing would be much more simple and names would travel instead of clids..

hi johnpoole,

well u r really helping always coming forward for help very promptly .thanx for that ...... in this case as we have several nodes so we need to maintain zone codes(TSCs)and plain extn. and ppl call up that ,its more like inter state or international call where u hav country code, region code and customer no. But bugging point here is somewhere switch is suppressing 1 extra digit from left side of the DN.....where need to check to see for that ......wot can be the reason....anything to do with LD90 in details or may be LD 15 ........still help reqd.

make sure your ani data anld is =to four digits in the switches in question..

hi johnpoole,

dump of ani data is

TYPE ANI_DATA
CUST 00
ANAT 0123
ANLD 123

so what changes u suggest in this?

for four digits coming from the co anld would need to be a four digit number.. and that MAY explain why your not seeing a 4 digit clid
