We have a Partner R6 with analog POTS lines with Caller ID. On most of the phones in the office (MLS12D, Euro 18D) the CLID information shows up on the sets while the call is ringing in, before it is answered. On one of the extensions however (Ext 10, Euro 34D), the CLID information does not show up until the call is actually answered.
Our Avaya technician is not aware of any settings in the sytem that would allow the 34D to display the CLID before it is answered. Is it possible to make the CLID show up on the display prior to the call being answered? Does this have anything to do with the phone being the attendant position?
Any advice would be appreciated.
