Anyone used this app on a Citrix box before? It is to get rid of the Outlook security box that prompts with the infamous "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook".

Any and all thoughts/experiences/opinions much welcome!

Thanks,

Nope, never heard of it Matt... What are you trying to solve (?) ...what issue(s)?? Maybe we can come up w/ another fix...

Brandon

We publish Outlook and I'm trying to get rid of that stupid MS security box, A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.

I think it came with one of the updates they posted, but now it comes up the first time anyone logs in for the session upon starting a new message or replying.

I know it doesn't sound like a big deal, in fact it isn't, but even after sending out a message (screenshots and instructions included) I still get at least 5 e-mails or calls a day with the, "I keep getting this error message"...

BTW, thanks for the reply!

Thanks,

Matt Wray

No problem- Can't promise any fixes here but you never know...
Are you publishing Outlook (what version) as a seperate App or is it part of a published desktop?

We are publishing Outlook 2002 10.65 SP3. This happens when running the published app and connecting via a desktop session over TS...

Thanks,

I haven't used Outlook 2002 before... The reason I asked is becaus I've never even seen that error message. We publish a desktop to about 250 users who have Outlook as part of there Profile. It's not a seperate PUBLISHED APP.

Sorry Matt- Wish I could help more-

Brandon

We had the same issue, try adding the following key its user specific

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Security]
"CheckAdminSettings"=dword:00000001
