I have a customer with a Merlin Magix R4.0 in a Legend Carrier. It has worked fine for a year. Now, they are getting "clicking" while making internal calls. My first thought is a power supply issue, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and what the cause was. Any input is appreciated.

Is the clicking on all phones or just some? Clicking thru the speakerphone is normal while the system is rebooting - but it should stop when the display reappears on the phone. If they are hearing "clicking" on the line while on a call - then the line needs to be checked for shorts. Is it all lines or just one? Lots of questions - need more specifics from you about the problem(s).

When you say "Internal" do you mean Intercom calls within 1 physical building/office or would it include remote offices linked by a T1 or some other circuit?

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Bad information from the customer. It is happening on external calls, ATT came out and replaced a bad outside pair and they are waiting to see if that fixes it. Thanks for the response.
