Hi, running an older MX with latest OS and Teleworker and 5224 phones

When making calls from a TW phone the recipient can hear a clicking noise, normally just 2 or 3. This continues intermittantly throughout the call.

The clicking cannot be heard by the user on the TW phone.

Any suggestions?

My first guess would be packet loss. Esp. if the clicking can be heard on internal calls. If it's only heard on external calls, check your PRI for frame loss.

You should check the software logs as well. If there is packet loss (significant packet loss), then there should be some logs from the E2T on the system where the teleworker call terminates to the PSTN.

(assuming here by 'recipient', you mean an external endpoint and not another internal IP set)

recpient is to an external destination - non IP.

Thanks, I'll take a look at the logs
