Clicking Button doesnt stay

i'm working on a site right now for a friend. first a butterfly flies in to the top right corner then 25 frames later, the butterfly in the top disappears and a button comes up in its place. the button is set to gotoandstop at a frame labeled "fnews" on the main movie in scene 3. after you click it, it disappears and doesnt even go to the right frame. that clip is set as a blank movie clip and on the 25 frame the button of the butterfly is placed with gotoandstop("fnews&quot and stop() on it. comes up blank so whatever is on screen at that time it is not the button
