I'm using W98 SE, and my mouse (2 button - PS/2) is somehow configured to run Windows Explorer when both buttons are clicked together. This is now infuriating, especially when gaming.

I vaguely remember a long time ago seeing this setting somewhere, but cannot find it any more. There is nothing via Control Panel/Mouse, nothing in the mouse properties via Device Manager, I searched the hard disk & registry for a clue but have come up with nothing.

Can anyone help?

TIA - Greg.

Open explorer, go to tools, folder options, select custom, Settings, check the single/double click option.
If you have a 3rd party mouse driver, check properties there.
Some times it helps to go to mouse properties in control panel, swap the buttons, save, restart, then swap them back. Cheers,
Jim
