i have ipoffic 500 v2 r 6.1 and a customer with r 7. can any of those releases use click to dial through one x portal and outlook? if so how is this done, i have been searching for weeks and i have installed one x portal at my office and at the customers site but i cant figure out how to use outlook for click to dial. do i need one x portal extensions? or is that for older systems. does one x communicator play a part or is that outdated as well? i cant find the light!! someone point me to the light!!!

I am not sure but release 7.0 can do it for sure.
I think it was there in 6.1 but that it did not work.
You need to install the call assistant and configure a hot key for it.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

For dial from outlook you need just TAPI not One x portal, and you can then just click Call Contact from you contacts page, alternatively you can use One x portal and highlight the number then press the hot key sequence Peter mentioned but it isn't true click to dial like on an iphone etc......Apple would probably sue if it was anyway as they think they have the patent rights on that idea :)
